Adventure Camp is specifically designed for the older camper that is looking to experience EXCITING age-appropriate activities and adventures! The week will also include additional off-site trips or activities separate from the rest of day camp. When we're not exploring, we'll join the rest of camp on beach days and for the all-camp field trip. |

Meet The Counselors - Popsicle Social - June 12 from 5:00 - 6:00 PM Meet the counselors before the first day of camp. |
In-House Library Programs- The Fontana Public Library will be collaborating with the Fontana Elementary School and Big Foot Recreation Department to bring patrons, students, and visitors fun summer programs. These programs will run on most Tuesdays at 10am. We plan to have the majority of our campers attend these programs. Please see the 2024 Flier for more information.

Water, Meals & Snacks Campers will be required to bring a "cold" sack lunch and two snacks. Bring a filled water bottle daily. Campers will have access to water throughout the day. Microwaves and refrigerators are not available. |
Excursions and Field Trips We plan on "going exploring!" Extra field-trip permission forms/waivers may be required for certain trips. |
Age Specific Activities There will be times when we will have "all camp" activities, but during the day there will be different activities directed for separate age groups. |
Swim Lessons * New for 2024 * Parents need to register their child through Water Safety Patrol. |
Discounts
· Early Bird Discount: Register before April 30, 2024 to receive 10% off Day Camp registration. · Family Discount: Discounts are available for families with 3 or more children enrolled. A 50% discount applies to the 3rd + child.** (Example: 3 children are signed up for Week 2. Total fees are $230+$230+$115=$575) · Full Summer Discount: Sign up for all nine weeks and get 10% off! ** Family discounts do not apply to in-house scholarships |
Extended Care Extended care is available from 7:00 - 8:00 AM AND 4:00 - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. You may purchase a 5 punch pass for $40 in advance for care. Unused punches will be credited back to your BF Recreation account at the end of the summer. Punch cards may be purchased online or through the recreation office. |
Fontana Summer School Participants [Dates TBA, please contact Fontana Elementary at 262-275-6881 for dates] Fontana School Residency requirements not required for participation. |
Late Registrations: Register 7 days before attending camp otherwise a $10 late registration fee will be assessed. Please register in advance, space is limited and we might not be able to accommodate late registrations. |
Unannounced Drop-Offs · Day-of camp registration is not permitted. |
Morning Drop-Offs Grace Time · Campers are to arrive between 8:00 - 8:15 AM. Please no later than 8:30 AM. · Campers will NOT be admitted into camp before 8:00 AM unless enrolled in morning extended care. |
Late Pick-Ups · $15 Late Pickup fee 10 minutes past scheduled pickup time. We recommend purchasing an "extended-care" punch card in advance. |
Scholarships Please contact us if you have a scholarship need. More information on scholarships can be found here. Please call if you have any questions. Big Foot Recreation District residency requirements do apply. |
Using Dependant Care FSA Day Camp can be paid using pre-tax earnings. Contact your employer and see if they offer a DCFSA plan. Rules & restrictions may apply. If you need supporting receipts, please contact the Recreation Office. |
