8/13 - The courts look great and are playable!

Tuesday, September 10
· The two lit courts have gotten it's new surface, look great, and are playable. The lights have a temporary fix, so they are useable.
· The 6 courts are now open and look great! There is some finishing touches to be accomplished but are playable.
· The donor board will be mounted within the next two weeks. Get your donor plate and show your support for pickleball and tennis at Big Foot!!

· Please show your support for our new pickleball/tennis courts and be recognized on our donor wall.

DIY Halloween Tombstones
Adults
Turn your yard into an epic Halloween scareground by learning how to make cool tombstones that look like the real thing. In this hands-on workshop you will be using dremmel tools, sanders and heat guns to shape your tombstones. You will then use painting and weathering techniques to give them each a haunted look! This class will meet over 4 Mondays.

Youth Soccer

This program focuses on the basic fundamentals of soccer. Our instructor’s approach emphasizes the rules, basic moves, elementary and fun-filled drills. This well-rounded program breaks down each position for a full understanding of the sport.

Fall Gardening for a Winter-Ready Landscape
Join us for this overview of gardening practices for pest prevention, plant protection, and garden/lawn preparation. We’ll discuss garden clean-up in relation to diseases, insects, and wildlife food; fall lawn care, protecting susceptible plants from snow/cold damage and more.

Black Point Estate Tour
Enjoy a guided tour through the Black Point Estate, built in 1888 as a summer home by Conrad Seipp, a beer tycoon from Chicago. * Meet at Linn Town Park on the corner of Maple Ridge Road and South Shore Drive. Car pooling to the site is required. Please be prompt, late arrivals will not be allowed in.

Nerf Battle

Each session we will have skill challenges where we'll will get to practice and compete in different aspects of Nerf Combat. Each child MUST have eye protection to participate. Bring your own Nerf guns - we will provide the “ammo."
