Astronomy Exploration
Family Friendly
Join us for an exploration of the history and future of astronomy! This 1.5 hour deep-dive into one of the world’s most cherished observatories includes a tour of the historic building, solar observing if the weather is clear, and an engaging hands-on activity that will immerse visitors in the wonders of astronomy. Bring a sack lunch to enjoy in the arboretum. Anyone under the age of 5 must have an adult present.

Valley Of The Kings Tour
All Ages
Join us for an educational tour of this private sanctuary that cares for animals of all sizes. VOTK provides refuge for abused, abandoned or retired bears, wolves and other animals. Not open to the public, this is an opportunity to learn about these magnificent animals up close.

Guided Farm Tour - Hephzibah Farms
A fun outing for your family and friends at Hephzibah Farms. These guided tours are interactive and educational! You will be petting, holding, and learning about animals from experienced guides, in a relaxed, safe setting. Spend two hours on this farm enjoying the animals at a more leisurely pace.

Bookworm Gardens Bus Trip
All Ages
"Bringing books to life" one garden at a time! Meet at Walworth Memorial Library for a bus trip to Sheboygan to visit the Bookworm Gardens. A fun trip for both little ones and parents. This beautiful botanical garden is inspired by children’s literature. Hop aboard the magic school bus, meet the three bears, and dig for dinosaur bones!

Root Beer Making & Tasting
Families
Learn how to make your own root beer! Each family will make 2 gallons of root beer, designing your own labels and bottling your brew. The following week we will have a taste test before your take your tasty creations home. Bring your own bottles (we have caps) or purchase a case from us. Registration deadline is October 1.

Get in the Halloween spirit with this annual fundraiser that is fun for the whole family. Come in costume for tons of games, bouncy houses, raffles, silent auctions & dinner. This event is free to attend, games and activities require the purchase of tickets at the door.

Family Days at Moose Mountain Falls
Come swim, splash, and slide at Timber Ridge's indoor waterpark: Moose Mountain Falls! With slides, hot tubs, kiddie pools, and more there is fun for the whole family. Access to the lodge and locker rooms begins at 12:00 pm. *Bring your own towel. Limited space available - max 75

Build a Stuffed Zoo Animal in the Park
Ages 2+
Watch your child’s eyes light up as you help them bring their adorable stuffed animal to life. Each child will receive a kit that includes their choice of a pig, lion, giraffe, or elephant, the wishing star that goes inside, birth certificate, stuffing, and a bag to bring them home in! Pizza with Santa
Join the Big Foot FFA students and Build your own 7 inch pizza! Pizzas are cooked and delivered back to your table for you to enjoy with Santa and his Elves. There will also be games and cookie decorating. Don’t forget to take a photo with Santa before you leave!

Gingerbread House Creations
Keep the mess out of the house and come out to this new family tradition! We provide large handmade pre-assembled gingerbread houses, in addition to frosting, candy canes, gumdrops...all the fixings to create a beautiful house that will be sure to be a centerpiece at your house this holiday season. Gather your family together for this sweet event!

Family Holiday Baking Extravaganza!
Complete all of your holiday cookie baking just in time to take to your holiday gatherings! Bring your favorite recipes or choose some of the recipes provided. Plan on making 2-3 recipes. At the end of the evening, cookies will be divided among participants.

Spend the afternoon with us at this festive and complimentary open house! The venue will be decorated for the holidays with holiday music classics on our sound system.
