Chuck Thiesenhusen, CPRE - Director

Chuck Thiesenhusen Chuck has been the director for the Big Foot Recreation District since October 2007.  Prior, working eight years at George Williams College as the Campus Recreation Director.  He has lived and worked in the area since 1997.  While working at George Williams, he had the opportunity to earn his masters degrees in both Recreation Administration and Business Administration.  Chuck earned his Cert. Park & Rec Executive mastery credentials in 2021.

Chuck is an avid sailor and enjoys racing on the lake during the summer.  Chuck has his roots in Wisconsin and enjoys all that the area offers.  He is excited to be living and working within the Big Foot community.
 
 

Dean Connley, CPRP - Recreation & Youth Sports Supervisor

Dean Connley

Dean graduated in August 2009, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management from Illinois State University. In 2010 he graduated from George Williams College with a Masters Degree in Recreation Administration. Dean earned his national accreditation as a Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) in 2015.

Dean’s wife, Jill Connley is an English teacher and Librarian at Big Foot High School. They live in the town of Walworth with their two sons Gavin and Tyler. In his free time, Dean enjoys archery, biking, golfing, fishing and building his own musky lures to take out on the water.

   

Vicky Hinchey - Marketing and Office Manager

Vicky Hinchey

Vicky earned her Associate’s Degree from the College of Lake County and has an expansive background of office and customer service management as well as graphic design. As a PathTo Positive Communities Ambassador, She is passionate about sustainable living and environmental justice. She has been a resident of Walworth County for over 20 years, and currently resides in Lake Geneva with her husband and two boys who she is very proud of. She enjoys hiking, camping and spending time with her family.

When Vicky isn't in the Big Foot Recreation office or spending time with her family, she is also a professional photographer who takes beautiful portraits specializing in high school seniors, prom/homecoming, and other special events..

   

Lynette Vyhnanek, CPRP - Recreation and Day Camp Supervisor

Lynette earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from North Central College in Illinois. She has been a valued member of the Big Foot Recreation team since 2018 and transitioned into a full-time role in 2021. With over 20 years of experience in recreation, Lynette brings exceptional expertise in working with young children—an asset clearly reflected in the growth and success of the Summer Day Camp and other Big Foot programs.

In 2021, she earned national accreditation as a Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP), further highlighting her dedication to the field.

Lynette lives in Williams Bay with her family and is deeply involved in the community. She serves as co-leader of Girl Scout Troop #8105, is the President of the Williams Bay PTO, and her family actively participates in several local youth sports organizations. In her free time, she enjoys boating, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones.

 

Nick Legnaioli - Program & Youth Sports Coordinator

Nick earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration from Carroll University in May 2025. During his time at Carroll, he also completed a minor in Marketing and Leadership. As a dedicated student-athlete, Nick played football for the Carroll University Pioneers as a running back and gained valuable experience working with the university’s athletic events team.

Originally from Richmond, Illinois, Nick grew up with a love for sports and the outdoors. He spent his youth playing football, basketball, and track, as well as enjoying golf and fishing. Nick is excited to bring his passion for athletics and community engagement to the Big Foot community as a proud member of the recreation team.
