Big Foot Day Camp Philosophy
Big Foot Day Camp is an enriching place for our community's youth to have fun, learn, discover, make new friends, and experience new activities in a safe environment. Our week-long camp is designed to keep kids on the move with programming that provides continuity day-to-day.

We do not consider ourselves a "day-care" facility and discourage single-day registrations (in fact it's not an option this year). We firmly believe that our youth receive the best camp experience by attending for the full week.

If you have any questions about the Big Foot Day Camp, please contact Chuck at the Recreation Office at (262)275-2117.

COVID 19 Safety Measures
Safety for our campers is of utmost importance to us. While COVID vaccination is underway, camp policies and procedures may evolve throughout the summer following recommendations from the CDC, state and local levels. In order for our day camp to be as safe as possible, everyone will be expected to follow the camp's policies and procedures. If your child or your family has underlying health conditions or you are uncomfortable with exposure risk, please do not register your child for camp.

Special Needs Children
We want our community’s youth to have a positive summer experience.  Our day camp is a high activity, group based adventure program. Children that enjoy being “on the move” in a social setting will thrive at this camp.  If your child has behavior, mobility, cognitive, or a medical condition that requires 1 on 1 support, they might not have a positive camp experience.  We are happy to talk with you if we can accommodate your child.  We are also happy to recommend other camps in the area that might be more suited to your child’s needs.

At this time our 2022 camp staff positions are full. Every summer will hire positions for: Camp Counselors; Jr. Counselors; Asst. Director. 2022 Applications are closed | Job Descriptions
