Come join us this summer for "Movies Under the Stars" on our 16' x 9' inflatable outdoor movie screen! Movies will be shown on the beach in Fontana and in the Sharon School Gym. Watch for announcements on our website, banners and in emails for upcoming movies this summer!
*Admission $1.00. Concessions available.
Fontana Beach movies will start at 8:30 pm
Sharon School Gym movies start at 6:30 pm
*Children under 10 years must be accompanied by a patron at least 13 years old.
*In the event of foul weather or strong winds
the movie will be canceled.

Get Moving! Walworth County
The 4th Annual Get Moving! Walworth County program will offer two community events and 5 lake walk legs. To register or learn more about other locations, visit www.getmovingwalworthcounty.com. Participants can earn and win prizes just for walking! One-time fee of $5 per adult and $1 per child under 18. All participants receive a t-shirt and welcome bag!
Fontana - St. Benedict's
Saturday, June 13th at 9:00 am
Start your Saturday morning with us as we wind through Fontana for fantastic views and great company! A relaxing 2.5 mile walk will take you past Fontana's landmarks, including a photo stop with a giant frog and views of Geneva Lake.
Sharon - Goodland Memorial Park
Thursday, July 2nd at 4:00 pm
Enjoy Sharon's beautiful architecture as we walk through the neighborhoods with a stop at a local sweet post for a treat. This walk will begin and end at Goodland Memorial Park, directly behind Sharon Elementary School.
Geneva Lake Shore Path Hikes - all hikes start at 9:00 am
Walk the entire lake in managable sections. Meet at the starting location of each walk, shuttles will bring you back. Earn "boat ride tickets" for a cruise on the last day.
Walk 1: June 3 - 2.5 miles, Big Foot State Park to Flat Iron Park
Walk 2: June 30 - 3.5 miles, Williams Bay to Fontana
Walk 3: July 13 - 3.3 miles, Linn Pier to Big Foot State Park
Walk 4: July 19 - 5.5 miles, Fontana to Linn Pier
Walk 5: August 21 - 7 miles, Williams Bay to Flat Iron Park
KIDS RULE! This program is especially designed for younger children! Enjoy a scavenger hunt, short walk, and lots of games and fun! Bring your lunch for the covered picnic area and playground to make it a day out!
Summer Solstice 5K Run/Walk
Join the fun by participating in the Summer Solstice 5K Run/Walk sponsored by Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pre-registration can be sent to the church address or dropped off at the Big Foot Recreation office. All proceeds donated to the local food pantry.

Valley Of The Kings Tour
Join us for an educational tour of this private sanctuary that cares for animals of all sizes. VOTK provides refuge for abused, abandoned or retired lions, tigers, wolves and other animals. Not open to the public, this is an opportunity to learn about these magnificent animals up close.
You may bring fresh chicken, turkey, apples and carrots to feed the animals. This is a working farm, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing. Rain or shine. Advance registration required.
